Immigration resources — now and for the future

Friday's welcome news about the Trump administration's backing off student visa cases doesn't mean our jobs are getting any easier.

On Friday afternoon came the news that the Trump administration had about-faced its student visa policy.

I imagined I could hear the collective sigh of relief at campuses across the country.

Today’s newsletter is heavy on resources designed to help your students — now and into the next semesters — navigate what is bound to be a roller coaster of immigration policy decisions. (There’s a particularly helpful new guide that outlines how journalists can understand and navigate the many government entities involved in immigration enforcement and policy.)

Thoughts and prayers as we wind down the semester and head toward finals. Stay strong, be tough but fair, and remember that June is just around the corner!
